This particular creation of theirs is theirs is a recreation of a late to post Napoleonic era French naval boarding axe. Featuring a stout hand forged 6150 high carbon steel head with large beard, sharp edge and mean billhook spike (for climbing or grabbing). Capped in a charred hickory handle. Not only a cool history piece but an extremely useable axe for your outdoor adventures or high seas escapades.
